چکیده
Currently, technical fabrics play a major role in many industries due to their multiple characteristics. The aim of this research was utilize composite knitted bars reinforce concrete beams. Six cord-knitted samples with two different polypropylene yarn counts (outer layer) and three core materials were manufactured immersed local epoxy material (Kemapoxy 150). Composite prepared way. Several tests conducted for bar samples. All data collected analysed using tools: ANOVA test radar chart area. Finally, beams varying number (one bar, bars) produced. results indicated that the differences outer yarns have significant effect on several fabric PP can be more beneficial do does not require high stress, while glass fibres (50% 50% PE) as are appropriate applications flexibility extensibility. Reinforced improved significantly bars, taking into account per area, which may cause minimizing flexure force through an increase

Experimental Study and Modeling of Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened by Post-Tensioned External Reinforcing Bars
The utilization of unbounded external reinforcing bars is one of the strengthening methods used after loading stage and before failure. The method has been used in different forms to strengthen members of reinforced concrete structures. To investigate the effect of utilization of post-tensioned reinforcing bars in this method of strengthening, a number of reinforced concrete beams was tested. S...
متن کاملCorrosion of Reinforcing Bars in Concrete
The causes and mechanisms of corrosion of reinforcing bars in concrete are described in terms of the practical issues as well as the electrochemistry. The parameters affecting corrosion are (i) the ingress of aggressive species, such as chlorides, which break down the protective film on the reinforcing bar and (ii) the amount of those species necessary to do so. The former is largely controlled...

متن کاملDesign Guidelines for Concrete Beams Reinforced with Mmfx Microcomposite Reinforcing Bars
Corrosion of steel reinforcement in concrete structures and bridges is a major problem facing the departments of transportation worldwide. In the United States, maintenance and replacement costs are measured in billions of dollars. Salt environment in hot climate and the use of deicing salts in cold regions have resulted in steady deterioration of bridge decks due to corrosion. These concerns h...
متن کاملComputational Homogenization of Fresh Concrete Flow Around Reinforcing Bars
Motivated by casting of fresh concrete in reinforced concrete structures, we introduce a numerical model of a steady-state non-Newtonian fluid flow through a porous domain. Our approach combines homogenization techniques to represent the reinforced domain by the Darcy law with an interfacial coupling of the Stokes and Darcy flows through the Beavers-Joseph-Saffman conditions. The ensuing two-sc...
